When our client requested a formal look to landscape, we removed the builder-grade landscape and introduced formality to bring her vision to life.

Our design called for symmetrical gestures across the front to create a sense of grandeur. Stone walls retain planting beds which are anchored with evergreen boxwood and loaded with seasonal color. The entry way is punctuated by two large urns on pedestals.

Specimen trees and conifers are positioned among the planting beds, as are hydrangea and roses. The back yard repeats visual cues from the front. One stately urn is a focal point from the upper terrace and lower patio. A fountain provides soothing sounds of water. The entire landscape comes together as a beautiful respite that provides usable backyard space for private relaxation or entertaining.
