Pool decks can accommodate outdoor furniture, pool toys, and plenty of room for movement. After all, a running start is required to execute the perfect cannonball!

Sundown designed this stamped concrete pool deck complete with a fire pit area, room for chaise lounges and comfy cool-down area beneath a cedar wood pergola. The pergola is large enough for upholstered outdoor seating.

Because the home owner requested to be hands-on in the construction of the pergola, Sundown worked closely with the homeowner on design specifications and materials. The outer area of the pool deck is planted with many blooming and evergreen trees and shrubs. As the plantings mature, they will provide a sense of privacy around pool area.
